What is a Recovery Coach?

A Recovery Coach is an advocate for recovery; it is a person interested in removing the barriers that separate people seeking recovery or maintaining recovery from their goals. This person acts as a mentor and a guide. Recovery Coaching is a peer-based service. Recovery Coaches accept positions with treatment providers, recovery community organizations, hospitals, prisons and/or other institutions, drug treatment courts, etc.

Who Should Attend the RCA?

This training is available to anyone in the recovery field as well as those that are committed to helping others and their communities.

Apricity is now a National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC)-approved education provider! Each of the two-hour educational sessions are worth 2 CEs and cost $40.00 per person.
