Former participant “Jordan” shares the impact of Apricity’s Contract Packaging (ACP) in Milwaukee

“ACP has been huge in my life. It has provided income, structure, and an opportunity to detox my personality and gain coping skills.

The environment at ACP is a warm, recovery-friendly atmosphere. I can get a hug if I need one, or I can talk about a problem openly and honestly. I enjoy the camaraderie of the people and I love the flexibility. I have had to go back to court; all I need to do is give advance notice, and ACP allows me to go.

Personally, ACP has provided me a consistent, regular income. Because of this, I have been able to reestablish child support payments and pay off and make amends for outstanding debts. When I arrived in the program, I needed the skill set and confidence in myself to perform, especially after experiencing relapse at a previous workplace. I’ve gotten just that, and I’m as happy as a clam. It’s not meant to be a forever job, but I’ve made forever friends here.”
